Students of the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) who completed the 2024 Pro-RUWA sponsored English Proficiency Summer Training were celebrated through a certificate award ceremony on Saturday, December 14th.
This second edition of the Pro-RUWA-sponsored summer training ran from July to September and recorded the participation of 10 students at B1 level and 40 at A2 level. Most of the learners came from the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of the UAC. But a few came from other faculties like the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences (FASEG), the National Institute of Water (INE) and the English Departement of the University College of Adjarra.
The certificate award ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences, Prof. Augustin AOUDJI. Also in attendance was Prof. Luc Hypolite Dossa, coordinator of the "Promoting Academic Capacities for Sustainable Agricultural Resources Use in West Africa", who reiterated his commitment to keep working for the academic capacity development of the faculty students.
